Fullface cracked open so I don't have to look through the plastic, unless it raining very hard then lots of wiping with my finger. I like having the windshield on but I look over the top not through, I cut mine down.
Ride smooth, turn smooth, brake smooth, accelerate smooth, like your driving the Queen very smooth. Just my 2 cents.
I use a face shield in the rain. I either add one to my 1/2 helmet or pull the shield down on my Jet II 3/4 helmet. Occasionally I will stick my head up above the windshield to blow the water off if it gets too difficult to see.
Just put your rainsuit on before riding... Every time I do it never rains ...
Lol ... down here in South Florida it's rainy season. My wife and I rode to our local Harley Davidson store to buy rain gear. We had torrential downpours for weeks before this. As we were paying, the sky went dark. We get to the parking lot and it looks liek a soaker before we get home. We take everything out of the bags and start removing all the tags. We get on our rain pants, rain jackets, and the things that go over the boots. Get on the bike and head home, sure enough it clears up before we got home. So I headed south towards the rain clouds, got plent wet and turned for home. Though we have had more rain, we have not needed them for riding since.
For years I've worn a full face helmet (Arai) with the shield cracked open about a quarter of an inch at the bottom in the rain. That keeps it from fogging while keeping my glasses dry. I recently purchased a Bell Mag 8 that is almost as good; absolutely no fogging but not as good of a weather seal around the neck as a full face.
My rain gloves have squeegies on the thumb - looked like a stupid gimmick to me when I bought them but it is actually very useful. I look over the windshield but if it's just a light rain, I raise myself up even higher once in a while and get the shield in the wind stream which blows the drops off. Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish also prevents water streaking; it beads up and pretty much blows off.

i must wear glasses to see the half sheild let to much in and glasses get to wet, 3/4 helment with intergrated facesheild works best for me keeps glasses dry and enough airflow to keep the fogging down.
