I like the one from E-Glide,no lid in the way.I will get one of these after my wallet recovers because of the stealership.

Like bountyhunter, I installed the Push Button Fuel Tank Console Door Release this winter and really like it. Only felt the need to lock it when I was in a motel. It's only 20 bucks and a 5 minute install.

Here's an easier solution. Buy a new gas cap at any auto parts store. It will have a slightly higher "grab ridge" in the middle. Your fuel lid will close easily, but it won't latch.
