+1x10 on the Soos extensions. Best bang for the buck mod, by far. Chrome seems pointless to me unless you want to impress someone you're running over.

Are there any problems while cornering with the extensions? Are the floorboards closer to the ground while cornering??

Adding extensions and moving your footboards out may reduce your lean angle. On '08 and earlier models this can be offset by raising the footboard 1/2". On '09 models this option is not available. The footboards are fixed.

I was a fence rider too but decided to try them. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! If you can't make up your mind let me tell you...GO FOR IT!! They're great!! Thanks Soos.

Just an update.... I have over 5K miles with these and and they still feel great and make a huge difference.
I let a friend ride my bike and he couldn't believe the difference with such a small inexpensive mod.
If you're on the fence go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I agree...I've recommended the Soos upgrades to many and they all like it.
