Tire safety warning

I'm not sure what to make of this, as I haven't heard of it before. Could the rapid deflation be caused by some flaw in installation? What tires are suspected besides the D402? I assume only the stock Dunlop on one reported GW1800 incident. The only completed court case was the GW, and that crash was in 2002. The '03 Ultra crash was in 2007, so I wonder how old those tires were. Maybe the flaw was only in a few tires that were manufactured years ago. Also, the Athens, GA lawsuit alleges that the bike was overloaded, which might not be a tire-defect issue.

If there's a recall I'm sure we'll all hear about it.
