Jamie is the MAN..
After a couple calls and conversations with Jamie about the pros/cons of the pc V. I finally broke down and called wed afternoon around 1:30 and ordered the unit and the stage 1 air kit.. at 9:30 this morning the big brown truck showed up and guess what....
I have a COOLER running 08 now .. just a couple mile ride in but a big difference ..
For those who have any doubts on service with Jamie and Fuel Moto ..He is 100% customer oriented and great to deal with.
I wish id have bought from Jamie but i have mine dialed in pretty good. Definitely use dialectic grease on the connections .. Use a lot it dont hurt.. I think mine is made by permatex and I got it at advance auto so autozone ,murrays ,pepboys on and on should stock it.. In fact afrer my crash I had tons of problems with the check engine light and tach quitting and security light coming on and no security. T pulled every connector on the bike and plastered them with the grease.. The end result was a new TSM and I got one on Ebay for like 25 bucks shipped.. Seemed when we went down and the bike high sided from right to left about 3 times while skidding down the on ramp to the highway it screwed up the tsm?.. I figured it out myself ... anyway sorry to get so long winded but yes yes and yes on the grease..
I didn't have the space needed in my 08 RKC. Had to use force. Actually more force than.... I had a big bunch of wires where you should put your connector by the battery. Time will tell...
on the 06 Ultra it is a very easy install...although everytime I say something is easy it takes 3 hours.....All I have to do is to remove the right side cover.....unplug the wiring harness from the ECM....remove the 2 bolts that hold the ECM...plug in the 2 connectors into the ECM....velcro the cables up....put back the 2 bolts that was holdng the ECM and tie wrap the Power Commander...put back the cover....and IT IS FINISHED!!
I ordered mine on Tuesday, and it arrived via USPS today. I've already installed the PC-V and the K&N SE air cleaner from Jamie. PC-V was a piece of cake, but the air cleaner was a little bit of a PITA, since you have to remove the black mounting bracket that's mounted to the fuel injector body so the AC mount from Jamie will sit flat against the injector. Takes a little time to remove the two allen head screws, but I got them out eventually. Wonder how many guys neglect to remove that bracket and then crack the cast base from Fuel Moto?
