No problem with staining from fingerprints unless you touch em when they are hot then the skin might stick
But seriously I worried about water spotting and blemishes from cooking road mud on the heat shields. A non issue, they look great after 5000 miles.
I disagree with everyone saying your doing it half a$$ if you go with the black slip on and chrome. It outs a break from all the chrome. BUT......
-It is your bike do what you feel looks the best. I think it would look great in fact it is what I plan to do to mine come winter. But there will always be a million diffrent opinions in the end its your butt on your bike.... ENJOY
I think the chrome/black thing is a natural fit. My '09 SG allready comes stock with the chrome/black look, so I just keep going with it. Add the Screamin' eagle heavy breather with the chrome elbow and black sock, iso grips, V&H Competition Series Slip-ons and I think it looks great!
