A HD tech was at the coffee shop a couple days ago and when I mentioned that my bike has almost 30,000 miles on it he told me to get it in soon and check the tensioner. This is both timely and disappointing. First, I hate to see the bike blow up, but dang-it, where am I gonna' come up with that kind of money? Sucksssss...............

I have seen several post here that they checked the CCT themselves. How do you do this and how long does it take?
