I know it worked when I got the bike.
Rolling the throttle forward once gets me a green flashing light where the cruise control light is.
Doing it a second time gets me an amber flashing light.
It used to be a red light. Can't get it to show a red light anymore although the EITMS seems to work. Not sure if I'm able to disable it. Anyone else experience this?
is there an indicator on the dash when it kicks on or do you just "feel" it.
You just feel it & hear the motor change tone. The idle comes up automaticaly to about 1000 rpm. The first time it kicked in, I was like "This is it?" no big deal. I'm not really sure why I would not want it to activate if it works flawlessly.
Amber and green here too. I never had a red light.
I don't see or fell any of this "You just feel it & hear the motor change tone. The idle comes up automaticaly to about 1000 rpm". I know mines working because my leg quits burning. It's actually cooler sittting at a stop light than driving 30 mph in the city.
