the eitms should not kick in unless the temperature is above a certain threshold, i think thats like 280*. so unless the temp of your bike is already way high, all you are doing is enabling or disabling it. and if you like it, then as you said, why not leave it enabled all the time?

Now you guys have me questioning my memory. I'm pretty sure it had green and red to indicate condition of the eitms, then back to amber to show the cruise was on. I guess as long as the eitms works that's all that matters. I'll mention it at the dealer next visit so I know if I'm losing it...
