So the Road glide is home:-)))Now begins the tearing **** off stage. Im wanting to put a new windshield on, thanks to some on here ive got some good direction as to what to do. Now i need to decide on an exhaust system, im looking for a performane pipe, any idea what the best setup would be. Bike is an 05 with a 95 inch engine, heads have been ported and polished, 10.5-1 piston and woods cams, not sure which ones. I need to talk to the guy that built the engine this week.
With that engine you will get some good sound from any pipe so depending on how loud you want it, that will be a factor in your decision.
You will probably get the best power from a Fatcat 2-1.
Personally, I like true duals. I would look at either V&H head pipes or BUB 7s.
As far as slip-ons, take your pick. Anything from V&H is good, Monster Ovals are my choice. Rhineharts are a bit loud.
Thunder header is pretty loud, D&D Fatcat with standard baffle has a nice sound to it. You might look at Eastern Performance for prices. When I was looking and searching, I found they pretty much had the best price.
