I like the piece although I think it is a bit "pricey".
But I agree, if the first one scratched from keys, etc...Why won't this be vulnerable to the same?????
It does look good, however... I like the "ball milled"
Now that scratching the cover is known, it wouldn't be much for a person to be careful when they have thier keys in there.
I still like mine, but I wish I had been more carefull.
For some folks with just one key, it probably won't be an issue.
