It was 84 here today and the bike was hot while stuck in traffic. I could feel the heat coming off the motor, but nothing like it would have been without them. I put my hand on them and they where hot, but they handled the heat with no problems unlike thos acrlic ones
Tomorrow promises to be warmer with a sunny day, and I've got a 175-200 mile trip planned.
I get that question alot. About heat being trapped. The main thing is,... the deflectors provide you a 2" over hang that protects your legs from burnin. If one decides to get a different seat, like a wider one. Do you think about that trappin heat? I'll bet not. You got it for your comfort. Same thing goes for my product. PS soon as hd forum ppl get back from memorial day. I'll be a sponcer in here as well. <just my 2 cents> zoood/RJ

They look great Bruce00. I was also wondering about the extra heat trapped around the rear head. Think I will get them any way.
Well today they where "field tested" Got stuck in massive traffic going into NYC to meet up with some HDForum members.
I got a first hand experience with that thing called heat management, twice, boy does it suck.............LOL
Bike won't idle worth a crap, but I never felt the extreme heat toasting the jewels
So if your considering the "No More Fried Thighs" heat deflectors.....get them............THEY ROCK!
