Default Windshield help

Ok guys, I am asking for some help because I am not where I can get to my bike at the moment. I have decided to buy both a clear and tinted 9" windshield for my SG because of the buffeting. They should be the right height because the wind hits me right in the glasses/helmet area. My question is, will one of these puppies fit in a saddlebag? Just want to know so I can carry one for day, one for night. Thanks for the help. In advance.

Good question. I would think the curve in the shield would be too much to fit in a hard bag.

Just get the light tint and use it day or night. www.fastaire.com

I transported the 9 inch genuine shield for my SG under my jacket on my stomach, no problem as long as you dont crash.

The SG worked almost as a naked bike for me without a shield at all and you can allways go and get it without a shield and a Torx T27 with you.

I tried putting the 9" I got from SinStateCycle.com in my hard bag and it did not fit. I don't see the need for changing out the shield at night though. I can easily see over the 9" and the tinting is not that dark to begin with - not opaque at all. I've ridden at night with it and never even thought about it. I'm not tall - about 5'9".

I also run the 9" tinted on my ulta. I look over it. Fine at night. I see no difference between stock and the 9". Looks much better. Toss out the stock, you won't go back. Also have a 6" that I love as well.
