Default street glide
i'm new here and i'm looking to get a street glide. i have a duece know and i travel 150 miles a day and it's beating me up.

Some people will tell you that the SG is not a comfortable bike on long trips.
I ride my over 1000 miles a week and it has shown to be a great runner. I love it.

I had a Deuce and got rid of it for that exact reason! I am 32 in great shape, ride motocross tracks and I limped worse riding my Deuce. I love my SG and I swap out with my Dads EG all the time. He likes mine because it looks "bad" The SG has a little bit lower rear shocks but it rides exaclty the same. He changed out the seat to a lower profile one on his EG similar to the SG. So ther than that I dont feel a diffrence.

I have not owned a duece, though I am enjoying my street glide very much. No complaints here at all.

Just returned from a 2800 (nearly 8,000 total miles on bike) mile trip on my Street Glide and couldn't be happier. Yeah, it rides a little rough with the lowered suspension and you may end up wanting a taller windshield, but it is definitely an 'all day runner' in my opinion.

A fantastic everyday bike and distance tourer. Get in the game and join the "X" crew. Styling/comfort/versaltility/customizing base, just a great all round cruisin' bike. Make the move, you won't regret it!
