Default Stabilizers, braces, etc.

See a lot of these, bagger brace, gtrue track etc. There are even the sta bo and ones like it that "align the transmission and swingarm". I get a wobble at 70 mph and better, straight line. Will these help, and will the sta bo style one work, as it is the least expensive.

i havent herd that they help for straight line riding, but they may. from what i understand they help in the turns at higher speeds. Others may have more input.

i haven't felt the need for the newest gimmick to come along. changing out my rear tire with the dunlop e3 cured the butt wiggle that i was experiencing on rain grooves. so all is well. my 08 sg handles just fine. it's not a gsxr, and i don't expect it to handle like one. are you sure that your tire isn't out of balance, or isn't running at the right air pressure.

I have had a wobble since my bike was new, in both cornering and straight line. I put on a bagger brace and it helped the problem a lot but didn't cure it entirely. The dealer was great they worked on the bike about 4 different times to try to solve the problem. The last time in they put in new emitters in the front shocks and replaced the rear tire. Last 2 things they could think of and I'm glad to say problem solved. Rode the bike with and with out the brace since the last repair, it does ride tighter with the brace on.

Right tire pressure yes, tires balanced I'm not sure. I would assume/hope the shop that mounted them did, but you never know.

I put one on my 07 RK and it did help a lot but as BCGLIDE says it doesn't completely get rid of it.
I would do it again, it was a good investment.

My biggest gripe were the rain grooves and slow speed shake. I installed the TWR link and it cured the low-speed shake and about 75% of the rain groove problem. I decided to take the shotgun approach and ditched the laced wheels for cast and replaced the stock Dunlops with Metzlers. Mounted and balanced the tires and wheels myself. Problem 100% cured now.

Emitters.
Your basic 12-2 Alpha Delta Charlie.
I'm all over those.

Never had the wobble but still bought the Progressive Touring Link (paid $152.00 through Eastern Performance E-bay site). Didn't notice any additional vibration and the bike does feel like stiffer. The bike tracks through grooves and bumps and other roadway impurities better. Before it seemed like the bike tracked along or transfered the impurities where i could reall feel them.

I put a Touring Stabilizer on my old 02 Ultra. It made for a lot tighter, better ride. I could tell a BIG differance as soon as I installed it!
