Default Need input for true duals...

Picking this up next week....first thing i'm changing is the pipes..

Need some input as to what kind and where did you get them?

Part number would be great so i can do some searching on the net to get a good price.

Want something loud too...no quiet baffles for me..

Thanks for all the help...

I put V&H true "Dresser Duals" and ebay SE mufflers on my 08 Eglide. Installation was not too hard. The most trouble was on the bracket supporting the rear pipe, factory bolts were really torqued at the factory & not much room. Runs and sounds great to me. There is a loss of torque that I feel most at 60-70 cruising speed when the engine is running 2000-2200 RPM. Once I get 2300 or higher RPM no problems. A 2 into 1 system might add just enough torque to overcome that issue.

Not that I am trying to advertise for these guys but you should read This Post and make your own determination to buy.

Here is the V&H Catalog for the part number.

Good luck with your new ride.

Rineharts are the best. I don't have the part # but I got mine from Dennis Kirk. I love em. The only down side that I found was the clamps aren't as strong as the stock HD's but other than that they are top notch.
