96" Motor brace
2009 Ultra Classic-----I have a brace on the front jug from the head to the left down tube on the frame......I was looking at my buddy's '07 SG and he does not have it. Is this only on the the Electra glides or maybe it shouldn't be there?? Do you have it?

the uniball engine viberation mounts on the top of the front cylinder & bottom of the cylinder started on the 08 models . it was carried over from the 04 sportser in which had it first to get viberation under control an does a good job in helping to get viberation in control. Its got nothing to do with getting vibration out.
It makes the swing arm pivot more ridgid and cuts out that in curve wallow that all the aftermarket stuff like true track was designed to do.
It works pretty well my 09 is rock solid compared to my 07.

my 08 has it. which means if you change to aftermarket heads, you'll have to make sure that they have the holes for the heim joint. it was carried over to the 09's i guess, because it works? i have no issues with the cross link on my 08 streetglide. very happy with the bike altogether.

The 08's will go down in the books as a one of a kind bike. Besides this mount, it will be the only bike with the old style frame to have a 6 gal tank, TBW, Brembo brakes, new injectors, narrower rear belt , just to name a few.
