I have RC component wheels and not even 10k and the bearings are toast I need to get a set front and rear by Thursday any Ideas? I am leaving 6am Friday for sturgis!
I will get them out of the hubs tomorrow just hoping someone knows the part numbers and sizing so I can try and get going a little faster.
HD part # 9247. all 4 are the same. check the length of the spacer tube they used, as it is extremely abnormal for them to fail so soon. i had that problem and it was the crush tube being too short. it needs to be a few thousandths longer than the distance between the bearing pockets.
a local bearing house should be able to get them much cheaper for you. dimensions are: OD 2.045" ID .998" WIDTH .825"
They are all bad so I am gonna guesss that the place that supplied me with the wheels got some bad bearings. They where made in Turkey and I can find no brand on them.
Bought the new bearings at a local bearing joint and told him after that they where for my bike and he said don't tell me that! Then he told me normally they wont sell to bikes?? Because the industry wants you to buy them from HD
