Just got back from a 3200 mile ride to the east coast and back on my 08 ultra classic elctra glide with my yl. From Lincoln Ne to Sneads Ferry NC was our longest ride yet. The hog preformed great and gas mileage was any where between 39 (bucking a two day strong wind) to 52 (in the Smokey Mts). Did the best using 93 octane. If any one has reservations about a long ride, put them aside and do it! You'll njever regreat it! Next month I would like to go up into Montana for a day or two but I guess we will have to wait and see. The best part of it all is I spent $183 on fuel for the whole trip!
