when I bought the 09 Ultra was, "Please don't make this one LOUD!" What should I do about the exhaust...? Slip-ons; MO's, SE or other or just leave the stock pipes on it which I just can't seem to bring myself to do... Any suggestions are appreciated. Is there research or data out there in the marketplace that gives deceibel rating on several exhaust systems??? Thanks!

Buy her a really nice, full coverage helmet. Tell her it's your way of telling how much you care for her. Then go out and get whatever pipes you want.....she won't hear them!!!!! Problem solved...next?!
go to costco or sams club and get her a 55 gallon of foam earplugs. i like my rinehart slip ons, they are not obnoxious at all, and are mellow enough to where they're stereo friendly. when you roll on the throttle though, you can tell it's no 2001 buick four cylinder whisper quiet though. i like the rineharts because i can have some peace of mind without being annoyed by the exhaust. the tone is deep, but not intrusive at all. i looked at the monster ovals, and they sure appear as though they're extremely heavy, and was also concerned that they may limit the amount of lean angle i'd have going through curves as they're much wider than what i've got. i'll stick with the rineharts, they do have their own distinct sound.
i had the same request from my wife so we put on the vance and hines classic mufflers. a deep throaty growl which is mild and reasonably prices i think i paid 300.00 bucks on ebay. the sound is incredible if you want quiet yet throaty we love them
