I'm looking at the 660 Road Tech..but from reading the info from the HD web site, it looks like it does not come with a handlebar mount (unlike the OEM garmin model) . Did anyone get a different read on this ??
What ever you buy, Dont get a Magellan for the motorcycle. Mine didnt survive 1 trip. Only lasted about 800 out of a 1900 mile trip. Vibration probably did it in. I have to send it in for repair now. Cant wait to see how much thats gonna cost.

I have the Zumo 550 and am real happy with it. I don't use the XM radio receiver currently, because I'm on a RKC and don't have the speakers, etc.
But I'm told the 660 doesn't receive the XM radio broadcasts. (Don't know why Garmin would do that - it seemed like a good selling point for the Zumo...)
If you're planning on running the tunes through the sound system on your Ultra, you may want to go for the Zumo 550 that pulls in XM radio as well as your MP3s.
Own the Zumo and the TomTom. You can pre-route better on Zumo but the TomTom has much better visuals and navigation for real time driving. Zumo is way overrated, imo.

Recently bought a Lowrance XOG (Cabela's was blowing them out for under $150 - Pretty amazing for a weather-proof unit). Very happy with it if you're not "collecting data" (doesn't have a lot of PC "candy" but it tells you where you are and where you're going).
If you go with the Zumo 550 you get the option of XM for an additional cost of around $150 for the antenna. You might want to think about a unit with Bluetooth in case you want to make or receive phone calls while youre on the road. If you go with the Harley Road Tech, which is the Zumo without the Harley sign on it, you will have to pay for the mount separately. The Zumo comes with a bike and car mount, the Harley unit does not.
