Default Need Some Beach Bar Help!!

I asked this question a while back as I was planning to change out the bars on RK Custom. As I sit on the bike, in the most comfortable position, I think I want a 36" wide, 3.5" - 4" rise, 21" pullback. I am always reaching forward and the heels of my palms gets numb, not to mention my lower back pain. The question is, I am having a hard time finding anything with a 21" pullback, which to me is the critical measurement as I want to quit riding in such a forward leaning position. I measured the stock bars pullback dimension at 15" approximately. I am 5' 11" and this leaning forward position is driving me nuts. Anyone got a brand name or suggestion where to go if you've changed yours out for the same reason?

Thanks,

Joechief

Not sure I can answer your question for you...but when I bought my bars I was on the phone with a sales tech at Wild 1 for about an hour. We talked about a lot of things relating to bars, back pain and comfort. He was a good man and helped me quite a bit.

Have you thought about a backrest? They're pretty comfortable and do help relieve stiffness in the lower back.

I thought about a backrest, the only problem is that I have to lean forward so much I don't think I would get the benefit from it. I do think that if I could get a set of bars that allows me to set back farther, a backrest would be a big help. I think I'll call the guys at Wild 1 and see what they think. Thanks for the info.
