+1 I got mine on Monday. I went with spokes and I love 'em! There's a noticable difference in the ride and handling. If you want to keep a cushy ride, don't do it. The 18s are stiffer, but I feel like I have a lot more control now. Low speed handling is much better. Make sure you get some good quality tires to go with them. Good luck!

Con: Ride is stiffer (not a con for me), expensive

Why doesn't anyone put the 18 on from and leave the 16 on the rear. I wish I had done that or gotten 4.25 rears.

Well Marsh don't ever go to a 21" front. It's hard to explain but mine wants to Counter Steer on it's own at slow speeds.

That's what I did on my '08 and I couldn't tell any difference in the handling.
I went with a 17" on the back on my '09 so I could put a 200mm tire on (it's a little lower profile than the 16" but not much).

I would never go to a 21" on the front. I know it's trendy, but the 18" follows the ruts badly enough already. I guess they are cool for Blvd cruising, but must be horrible in real world riding.

I don't have any trouble at all riding. Highway speeds are great.
Now the 200 I have on the rear is a big improvement, on not wallering around with the highway grooves that my 08's 140 would do.

I don't notice anything about following groves in the highway that you are talking about. It's just the super slow speed turning (parking lots), that is a little pain in the ****.

I have been advised to go 16 rear and 18 front on my road king, this was by Rob at Hogpro.
