I have been very busy and have not been on dbomb since a trip to Carlisle bike fest. Last night, as I am doing some chores, two of my buddies that were on the trip to Carlisle stopped in. The one guy bought a used 1200C a month ago. Nice bike.
They are talking about the ride they took all damn day, and I am itching to get on the bike and go. As I continue to swing an ax into billets of potential firewood, this guy asked me the following question: “What do you think about this, I was at an Indy today, and the owner had his personal ’02 fatboy for sale; custom white paint, all chromed out with 7000 miles on it, for $10,000.”
I told him, “Good deal in my eyes, but I know how much you ride, and since you seem to be in progression of going to a fatboy already, and to everyone their own, but quite fck’n around and get a bagger and be Mr. Happy biker."
With that, I slammed the ax down into my chopping block and told my buddies, I can’t take it any more, let’s ride.
