Lexan is pretty resiliant to chemical stuff but it sure did a number on the paint.

Wing guy should have known better. Guess he has been lucky so far as well.

Then I must be damn lucky. Been using it on mine for 3 years and on the previous bike for 3 years with no problems.

Folks never cease to amaze me. I know bikers are a close knit group but I would never mess with anothers bike. I'm sure me probably meant well but he went over the top.

Really WTF, the only person I sit on his bike and he can sit on mine without permission, is my best friend, I've known him 26 years, and he's like my brother. Why would someone mess with anyones scoot is beyond me.

sorta like last weekend, i'm at a rally and some guy comes along and sees my vivid black streetglide, commenting on how sharp he thought it looked. i appreciated the comment, and then he said, hey ya mind if i sit on it to see what it's like? i said, sure, ya got twenty grand? people unfamiliar with a bagger will tend to drag their heel across the top of the saddlebags not knowing that they marked one of your prized possessions.

I would have the guys home address to send the repair bill to after he got out of the hospital after the a$$ beating I gave him for squirting, god only knows what, on a bike that is not his own!!! Not to mention, he did not even ASK to put it on your bike, just did it!!!!!!!!!!!
