Now back to your question. I am not a big fan of those personally. Plus they are going to be a PITA to put on perfectly straight. I would worry more about them being off just a tad. It would drive me crazy if they were off just a hair.
Bleh!! Leave it clean. Makes the front look cluttered. Now if there were LED's that were frenched into the fairing and were invisible unless on....then that would be different.
