+1 on Bright *** lights! I have the BAL-1 and it's fantastic. I have riders and cagers alike pulling up and asking about it. Cages back way off me now too. Best think I've added to the bike.

A friend of mine went to Gall's Police Supplies and purchased 3 LED lights and installed them under he tour pack. They are about 4" long and 2" high. He installed them to come on when he applies his brakes. I was riding behind him last week, when he hit the brakes, I was almost blinded because they were so bright. They are the same lights they install on the inside of police cars. Brightest LED lights I have ever seen. Not sure about the price, somewhere close to $150.00 per unit. Worth the money if it prevents someone from hitting you in the back. They are programable to blink, flash and/or just stay on. You can also pick a color, my buddy has two red and one amber.
I have the BAL-1 from Brightass Lights and it's terrific.
Gets the attention of folks behind you. Great peace of mind.
I can swap it out between my 08 Ultra and 09 XL1200C Sporty within minutes. True plug n play.
Highly recommended. Pricey, but worth it.
+1 on the ridetimetechnology tail light, have them on my SG and wife's sporty. He has a tappered one without the license plate lens which you do not need for the SG. Wasn't on his website but called him and he said he had it.
