Question 80 Decibel Slip Ons
I see that BUB has come up with the Stealth 7s as well as S & S with a new SPO Oval that is has a sound volume of 80 decibels at 25 feet. I'm wondering how many aftermarket muffler manufactures will be following suit.

Sounds like a KawiSaki to me. I don't like them exceptionally loud, but needs to sound like a Harley.

It looks like maybe not long before it will be illegal to change mufflers at all due to noise pollution. I have a set of 80db SE mufflers I bought brand new and am selling because they were a bit too quiet for me. It still needs to sound like a HD not a kawi like said before but to each there own.

I wonder, since they are EPA compliant, do they have the required EPA statement on them.

How many will they sell considering the stock '09 FL cans are rated at 80db as well.

I think all of the 80 decibel EPA compliant mufflers made now and in years to come will be tamper proof and have the stamp on them.
