The E-3 worked good for me. I got 17,000 out of the back with 4/32 left when I got a nail in it. So I get to start on a new one.
Try a set and you will like then very good wear and rain grooves and tar snakes don't have them moving all over on you.

This tire is a winner all-round and I see no downside to them unless you must have WW, as they are only available in BW.
I'm liking the sound of the E3.. iclick it sounds like you had the E3 on the rear before you changed the front. Did you run the D402 and E3 at the some time? I assume if you did it didn't affect the handling of the bike, I know some tires are not compatible.

Thought for sure I would see something about the Michillins on here. Two of the guys I ride with have them and won't run anything else. They wear better than the stock tire, handle way better wet or dry, but don't come in WW either.

Avon Venoms! You'll get the mileage you're after plus excellent grip in all conditions.

I had the Venoms on my EG classic and only got 7k miles but WOW,,, handles in the twisties...The wear was my biggest problem...Tried Michelins but in all fairness they were not rated 77H, they were 74H because i got one for $50.00...tRYING e3 NEXT BUT WON'T COUNT OUT THE michelin commander yet... it was very quiet.

E3's are great. Soft rubber on the outside hard in the middle so you don't end up with a flat spot along the center of the tire. Motorcycle Superstore had good prices and free shipping over $100. Just bought a front for $103.
