Default 360 Brake updated with pictures

Anybody running their new 6" setup. I talked with Dale in Sturgis and it seems like they have gotten them now where there is no required machining and it is a simple bolt on deal. Just wondering if anybody is running one and what the feedback is. I really like the way it cleans up the frontend.

I've been watching the 360 brake evolve for 2 years now and they seem like it is never quite right. Heard the same thing you've heard, simple bolt up install. The three bikes I've seen them on all had something they had to work out for the 360 to fit. Pads have been a issue, soft material, hard material, over heating, back to soft pads, dust, noisey. Maybe they have it all worked out by now...
Brembo equiped harleys needs a front master cylinder change. Think I read this on their web sight a few weeks ago.

Doubtful.. I believe the sensors for ABS would be eliminated by changing out the rotors / calipers...

I ordered the 6" setup yesterday. Supposed to be a direct bolt on for my wheel application and all I have to do is cut the crush tube to fit between the bearings. I'll definitely keep you guys updated on the setup installation and how well it works.

Default ezbrake

I stopped in at their tent in Daytona. At first I was impressed with it's size and the initial comments the rep made. As we spoke though I got really turned off about it. He basically said that if you expected them to stop you the same way that your regular brakes do you might as well forget it. He went on to to say that with a passenger fade is worse. Needless to say I didn't buy them. I thought the concept was good but I don't need any more brake fade!!!!!

I have been keeping up with these guys for a good while now. The 6" version is supposed to be a lot better and they do recommend if you go with the 5" that you run it on both sides of the wheel where the 6 you can go with just one unit. Dale told me that they are working very close with the wheel manufacturers to get everything machined correctly for each application and different wheel offsets. I think the concept is a good one and if they have the bugs worked out of it, it should work great. I should have mine in a week or two hopefully and will do a write up on the installation and give reports on how well it performs.

BadX, hope they are giving you a helluva good discount for being the guinea pig on HDF, as well as being in the industry. IIRC, the earlier version of that 360 or its predecessor had some serious problems. Pretty serious $$$ for a product that doesn't exactly come with great history.
