A coworker told me about HD's new seat that he seen at Sturigs. He sat on one at the HD display and said it was extremely comfortable. HD #53051-09

Will not work on mine, but would like to try one.

I own 09 Glide Classic...first thing I thought I'd have to do was replace the stock seat like we did on the 07 Fatboy. That seat was a joke...who puts a medal piece right in the crack of your ****?...anywho. I couldn't be happier with the stock seat. I just did 3800 miles in 12 days and I had NO issues what so ever. I'm very pleased with the stock seat...go figure right

Poor design honestly. It will raise the ride height up atleast 2"s above the stock height and is poorly designed. The material they used on the seat is third rate. Whoever HD has designing their seats needs to get with the program because we are well into the 20th century and they are using 19th century technology and techniques. The so called Hammock is using what furniture factories used 20-30 years ago for webbing on the inbacks of furniture and it won't take long for the rider's section to sag.

I stopped by the local dealership today to drop off some more flyers for them and one of the service guys took me in the back to look at a few of the new 2010 bikes(all they had was SE's and one Ultra) I was really unimpressed with the new seats...I mean a 20k+ motorcycle should have a nice looking seat on it and these things had rinkles and wripples all over them.

This is the seat that comes on the 2010 SE UC (heated rider/pass version). I've only got 350 miles so far but I can say it's extremely comfortable. Unfortunately it came with a very small tear (less than a .25" under the bottom edge of the seat) and the dealer has already ordered a replacement.

It is quite a monster in size and not for the guy with a short inseam. I'll be swapping out the seat for day trips and using the stock seat for longer overnight trip. I haven't made any decisions yet as to a replacement "day-trip" seat.

Default Riding Seat for a 2010 Ultra Classic

I road on a corbin seat for over 100,000 miles and loved it. I ride a lot I just got a 2010 Ultra Classic and the seat is a killer. Kills the Prostate man. I took my seat to Mean City Cycles and they did my seat up for under $200 and I am well pleased. I have to have a firn seat they make them more plush but I got no butt. If you talk to these guys they can fix you up. I do Iron Butt Rides and a soft seat will kill you on those this is a riders seat no lie change that old seat and ride

Love my Harleys.

But butts and bars should come comfortable when you buy a bike.

I have this seat mostly for my wife my 08 FLTR (FL),the stock seat is great for just me i can go all day on it, but the wife cant walk when she gets off the stock seat, my wife rides with me once or twice a month so i change to the hammock for her and she loves it, she can ride all day and be able to walk. The only problem with the seat is it raises pilot 1.5" up and forward but i can get used to that so that she will ride. I love having her on the back. But do love alone time too. (and no she doesnt read this forum lol)
