Our fearless moderator, Lee Mickelson <Tripper> will be picking up his new RG next month! I am wondering how long he and Kat can make it on the stock seat.
Hint: I had no problem with the stock seat on the rental, but then I only put about 500 miles on it. Neither Kat nor Brittany had any issues with the stock seat on the rental either.
Tripper, I think your going to be pleasantly surprized at just how nimble the RG handles. I'm not sure what your currently riding but the RG can run the twisties with the best of them.
The stock seat on the new ones is OK, just OK. If you do decide to switch, the Sundowner is close to the stock but much nicer in my opinion. My wife hated it but she has a pillow seat only butt & the AirHawk took care of that.
I wish you the best with the new ride, I wouldn't ride anything else.... T

PS I didn't vote, lol
I was very pleasantly surprised with the handling on the rental. The only issue I had, a minor one at that, is that it seemed to labor a bit on steep inclines with two up, but that is fixable.
