i"m not old enough for a geezer glide,i"m only 50, still riding a dyna.
I'm 26 and just traded my dyna in for a road king classic. Never was a fan of the "bagger craze" or trend. I had no desire for a bagger until I got suckered into test riding one. It is a superiour bike, PERIOD! Sorry. Yes dynas handle great...until you lower the rear suspension and add forward controls (like most dyna riders do), than it handles like just another cruiser slug. Even stock street bob shock length will scrape pegs before my floorboards scrape on my RKC. For me, my RKC is about the ride. Bought it and put 2500 miles in the first week or so. Looks good stock too. My dyna wasn't comfy enough to justify it's lack of sportyness, and wasn't sporty enough to justify it's lack of comfort. I miss my dyna, but what I miss about it would be found cheaper and more abundantly in the likes of a SV650, monster, or street triple.
As far as the touring section having the most viewers...I don't really like it. You can start a thread and within an hour it will be burried 4 pages back. Someone with the answer you are looking for might login 20 minutes too late and never see your question. I'm new here though, so I might get used to it. But I really do miss the old dyna forum, lol.

I'm 48, and I thought they were for geezers too... till I rode one for the first time. Had 4 Dynas and softails since '93, no desire to own a bagger, until I rode a Street Glide. I've only had my '09 SG for a week, but I'd never ever go back to a Dyna or Softail, there is no comparison. I just didn't expect it to ride and handle this nice, and be so comfortable; didn't even think it was possible. Depends where you ride somewhat, but out here in the country, this bike is the real deal. That $11K to boot, trading in my '06 Street Bob, doesn't seem nearly as painful as I first thought. It was worth every penny.
And the fellow riders in this forum (in particular) are well spoken, intelligent folks who are always willing to help out. This is MUST READ stuff for any HD owner who wants to keep up on everything they need to know about improving and maintaining their bike and then some. I've learned a crapload of stuff about my bike in here already that I would never have found out any other way. I picked up little or nothing in the Dyna forum, the Touring fourm is a whole different deal.

I guess we were saying about the same thing at the same time, you just did a better job. "It's a superior bike, PERIOD" sums it up very clearly. I just did not expect the difference to be as dramatic as it is.
Yup, I used to like my ol' skiny all wood and straw ladder back chair. That is, until I discovered Barcalounger. Now I'll never go back to a smaller and narrower seat.
