Wish you the best, enjoy and stay safe. Truely hope you get a couple hours to ride, too. You have deserve it. Most of all Thanks for what you do.
im going to plan on about 10 days of riding !!!!
caint wait !!! p.s. why is it ? EVERYBODYS bikes looks so nice ? mine looks kinda dumpy, sigh... but the bright side is, im now starting to fix her up a bit, and give her a good detail job, should help.
Enjoy it bro. Just be ready, the wife and kids seem to take it harder when you come back from R and R than they do when you leave the first time. I feel that way and a lot of other guys have mentioned it too. I heard the Jesse James HMMWV is up at Speicher now. I am in Mosul, but am going on R and R at the end of the month. I am going to try to go back to Tikrit in July. If they ever bounce you around to another FOB, let me know. I have that old russian bike running. I go for a ride every day at sunset. It just makes me feel better. If we end up at the same place, you can take it for a ride. It is like therapy. The KBR management won't let their employees ride it, but you know as well as I do that rules are made to be broken. However, I dont complain about the helmet law, Have fun man.
I wonder how many forum members are over here?
Are you in the military or there to help build it back? I just about went there to work as a contractor. I am an electrician and had heard of several companies that pay well to go there. Just curious.
contractor, [halliburton] pay aint the greatest, but much better than what i can make at home. [central missouri]
electrician ? why aint you here ? we NEED electrician's !!!!
i run with the crane and high lift loaders, mostly do it with a crane, generators are always going down,
work isent that hard, but its super hot, you'll burn your hands if you touch anything with out gloves.

psssttt ..... hey myzen ??? ...can ya make that two drinks ?
I will be leaving my bike and familly next Friday 9th, headed for Balad for a little while then headed for TQ. I was pver there last year twice spent most of my time in balad, Taji, Baquba (spelled that one wrong) and Kirkiuk. I think they where Anaconda, Camp Cooke, Warhorse and Kirkuik I forget. Balad is a pretty nice place. Ooop I just remembered Remagan, Remagan sucked real dirt pit. Anyway I will likely get to the PAX terminal on the 12th depending on flights into Balad.
