I did that once buying a car. I got sick once in the Navy and a corpman had me written up because I refused a suppository. He told me to "put this pill up your rectum and go sit down." I refused. 3 1/2 years later I went to buy a new car and this same shmuck was the salesman. I was working a deal and the manager was telling me how this guy's kid is sick and he's not selling a lot of cars.. blah blah blah. I had the salesman, finance manager, and dealership manager there until 11PM and had a sweet deal worked out. They brought the papers out for me to sign and I told the salesman to "put these up your rectum and go sit down." There's irony!
I walked in about a year after that to check out a different car and was asked to leave. Needless to say a different dealership got my money for a new 3000GT.
It's amazing to me, they can screw you around for hours, going bak to the salesmanager to see if you offer is okay, then do it over and over again, WHILE THEY KEEPS YOUR KEYS SO YOU CAN'T LEAVE. But you get even one time and you're the a$$hole. I use to hate the whole car buying bullcrap. Now I just walk out if they start that sh$t. Lot's of car dealers out there.
I just bought my daughter a car and now I here's what I do. When they give me the keys to test drive the car, I hand them my keys and say check out the car and give me a price when I come back. If they don't give me my keys back, I tell them to, then I walk. Fu$k'em.
Had to jump-in here..I had a Stealer at the car lot, when I was leaving grab my arm and said YOU SAID YOU WOULD BUY TODAY...I had everyones Attention there when I started yelling...and then some, unreal what they will do to feed there family

That experience was back in '97 and I was 22 years old. Now I arrange any financing ahead of time and sell the current car on my own rather than haggle. I haven't spent more than an hour buying a car my last 3 vehicles, including the test drive. Doing your homework ahead of time makes life a lot easier. I went out of my way to get the salesman (male) back for having me written up. I don't mess with those types of people now.
I suppose it may have been possible he was trying to rape me. It might explain why he kept trying to wipe off the food that spilled on my lap... but I never remembered eating anything??? And that "suppository" was huge and shaped like a *****. Oh my, I feel violated.
Back to the OP - seems that the dealership is full of tools. That would definitely be the last time they ever saw me there. Good for you calling them on it. Sorry to have hijacked your thread.
...that salesman is a "typical HD salesman. This is what almost all HD dealers an salesmen having been doing for the past 15 years...taking you money! and it's amazing how many just keep giving it up...

When i bought my Deuce the sales man told me the time to ad all the accessories is while they are prepping the bike," its all apart anyways", When I went to sigh the final papers 2 hour labor charge added on. I looked him in the face and told him no. I was ready to walk away and you will have to too. There is no excuse for that kind of charge. Period!

Great story. When I was a corpsman in the Navy, I was told (Doctor's orders) to give a guy a Tylenol suppository and he refused. I think he was afraid he'd go gay or something. He had a febrile seizure and died. God, that story cracks me the hell up. I still laugh about that azzhole today...
