Bent my Apes
Anyone that had to go higher, want to sell me your Wild1s Chubby WO502 12.5" apes? I bent mine in an accident (See "Flipped my Bagger if you must). Could probably ride with them but one side is 1 1/2 inch lower and 1" more pulled back (imagine cranking backwards on one side hard enough to bend it). Might be a good fit after I have my shoulder worked on. Wonder how I could bend them back, or even if I should?

It would be best to just replace them, I doubt you would ever get them back to even. I dumped my sportster with apes once and did manage to get the bars close to even, it just never did feel right. It always felt like riding a bicycle with the handle bars twisted just a bit.
A freind of mine dropped his bike with apes at a stand still and they broke. Just get new ones. If money is an issue look for blemished ones new from wild one or Carlini. They are a bit less expensive.
