Former Army guy here, LOVE your bike! That green really looks good and I like how you've kept it simple. I really like the discontinued Army AC cover, I'll bet one would pop up on eBay eventually.
Looks great! Will look forward to the finished product !
I did 23 1/2 in the CDN Forces and am starting year 10 working on Base on the CF18 Hornets. Can't get away from the military!
I have to say this is the best I have felt in a long time. Thanks
I do love my Army career and respect all the soldiers present, past, and soon to be. This bike is kind of a tribute to them and my life. I never knew I would have this much fun with it even before I really rode around with it. I am no special soldier but want everyone to remember the true heroes.
Enough mushy stuff...
I got my PC-V tonight from Fuel Moto. I was worried to drive with the new exhaust and no fuel re-map. No that I have it I can drive tomorrow to work.
One question I have is what do ya'll think of me putting on the lower fairings now. I got them painted and was going to wait until it got colder???? They are the vented that I can open and close them. I also have the chopped tour pack but waiting for new hinges and latches.
Also...If anyone is going to the Georgia HOG rally in Helen let me know. I live off 400 and will be going up there too.
BTW...I like the Army Road King. I am glad I went with a shiny green instead of drab. I am not into the drab and dull at all. Just my vision of a new style Army bike. If there was one.
Again, thanks for the kind words and love hearing from fellow soldiers.
Todd
Todd, I see you are teaching at North Georgia. I am a Platoon Sergeant in H Co 121 LRS in ATL. We have a lot of dudes up there going to school. Also, MAJ Hutnick who teaches up there used to be our CO......SG looks great BTW
