"white" running lights for touring models
I recently installed an HID headlight in my 06 Road King. I love having the much brighter white light however the running lights still have the stock bulbs with the yellow light. Does anyone know if there is a replacement bulb that will have a white light? If so, mfg and p/n would be great.
Several people on here have used the Silverstar 880ST. It has a straight base as opposed to the 90° PGJ13 base that the stock bulb has. But apparently it works and it is whiter than stock. In my experience and what I have seen Silverstars do not last very long though. Some people swear to get a year or even two or three out of them. Typically I would say 6 months tops. YMMV

They come in two different wattages. get the lower, they generate less heat and will last longer and match the original wattage from HD. Any Auto Parts store like Kreagan, Auto Zone or Pep Boys will have them.
