If you are using a 21" front tire I suggest looking for the Metzler Lazer. It works great on grooved pavement and rain and handles well. I'm not sure what Metzler has in a 16" rear but Metzler does have cruiser sizes. Metzler in general is better than Dunflop. Michelin, Metzler and Pirelli have a silicone impregnated rubber that helps in the wet and extends life. Google south west moto tire, they are in Arizona I think and offer free shipping for two or more tires and very good prices.
I was thinking Avon Venom AM41 120/70-21 62H for the front.
And Avon Venom AM42 140/90B16 77H for the rear.
I could put the Avon Venom AM42 150/80B16 77H on the rear but I don't know if I'm going to encounter any clearance issues.......What do you guys think??
I was just checking out the Metzler website and saw the ME880 Marathons.
Metzler 140/70 - 21 M/C 76V REINFTL front tire for the 21X3" rim
Metzler 140/90 B 16 M/C 77H REINFTL rear tire for the 16X3.5" rim
Do you guys see any problems with this tire combo?
I'm starting to confuse myself here......decisions...decisions
