I have the dolly from Harbor Freight, and it worked like a charm once I repositioned the portion that the side stand sits in. I can move my Electra Glide all over the garage with it easily. It is solid and built well...there is nothing high tech about motorcycle dollies, and HF sells one for cheap that works as advertised.

...a GOOD QUALITY M.C. "LIFT" will give you all the benefits of a "DOLLY", plus you can service the bike as well.

And pay 4 times as much for it.

I have the HF dolly and it works like a charm. Cheap too.

I also have the HF jack. Jack+Dolly was less than any table lift.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a J&S lift. It will do what any "Dolly" will, and unlike a table, the wheels are off the ground so you can perform ANY service on the bike. Walmart shoppers like you will always sing the praises of Harbor Freight fo one reason only: like you said; "CHEAP". For my part, I wouldn't put my bike on any piece of **** Chinese garbage the you might get from Harbor Freight.

Don't act like you know me.

"Chinese crap" is a tired argument. Parts of your bike were made in China, that computer or phone you're typing on...made in China most likely.

You want to blow your wad on a $420 jack made of the same **** an $80 jack is made of with a VERY similar design, by all means...go for it.

Does that $420 jack lift the bike any better? Nope. It goes up, it comes down.

Craftsman jacks are the EXACT same design/materials as the Harbor Freight jack...and cost more. And don't come at me with the warranty, there IS no warranty on the Craftsman jack. Ask me how I know....mine broke in a year. But that HF dolly & jack are working just fine 2 years later, and I paid less for them

There are those of us that are a bit more fiscally conservative when we don't see value in spending hundreds of dollars on something based on where you think it's made.

You're not going to convince me and I'm not going to convince you, so be it.

Ride safe.
