Stuck Rolloff Switch
For the last week or so my cruise control had been acting up on my '07 RKC. When I had my hand resting on the throttle with the cruise control on, the cruise would shut off whenever I started going uphill. All it took was just the slightest resistance and it would shut off. I sprayed the rolloff switch with WD-40, whacked it against the frame a few times and rolled the cables around near the switch. Sure enough, that fixed the problem. I guess those things are prone to sticking internally. If it does it again, I'm just going to disconnect the switch and forget about it.
