Been busy and haven't posted regarding the paint project in a month or so, and the bike hasn't changed dramatically. However, fairing lowers were painted and installed (we ran out of the HOK candy red concentrate on the initial shoot); HogTunes fairing lowers speakers/kit w/o amp; the Rinehart TD's are back on the bike (and, for me at least, I was happy to remove the FatCat--didn't like the sound or appearance); Ironside rider floorboards/inserts and passenger pegs installed (purchased through HDF classifieds); and I reinstalled the Deluxe tank badges and will wait till winter to decide if I want to do something else. Here are some recent pics:<A href="http:// " target=_blank>
A Corbin Classic Solo is coming this week and the tour pak will be coming off the bike, at least until the next long trip. I'll edit this thread to post a pic or two with the new seat minus the tour pak.
We're never really "finished" with these bikes, but I don't foresee any significant changes in what I have now. It's been a terrific project for me, and solved my "wanta get a new bike" urge, at least for now and the forseeable future. Links to previous updates are in this thread:
I could take or leave the tank badges too, maybe for something a little more old school. JMO though... That paint does pop though. Looks really good. Are you going to chrome the wheels too or leave them silver to match the engine/trans?
sweet color, badges look good too, especially against that paint. thats a new scholl bike, keep with new school parts...now its time for some new wheels.
