Default HD Radios?

I see a lot of beautiful baggers on this forum and I'm guessing most have the OEM Harmon Karden radios. Am I missing something here? I see many, many posts regarding problems with the radio since 2006 and yet here I am with a new FLHX experiencing the same flippin problems. My dealer will take care of me, not worried about that, but a vehicle costing as much as $30,000 should not have a chronic problem with a box of plastic and circuit boards. WTF is the moco doing about this problem?

Apperantly nothing. No problems with my radio yet (knock on wood) but mine is also an 04, and besides I'm not willing to change the radio right now and spend the money.

HD will do nothing as long as the bikes are being sold.

I will be having my replaced with another refurb unit soon.

On long rides I don't even turn the damn thing on, besides once you get highway speeds its just annoying.

After 2 years and 20,000 miles I've had no problems with my stock radio.
