Been lurkin round here a couple months since I bought my street glide. Lots of good info here. Anyways I moved up to a street glide from a 1200 custom sportster. My 50 year old bum sure is glad I did!!! It's an '08- pearl white with profile laced wheels, security, cruise, and the color matched inner fairing.(thats what got me!) So far all I've done is add rush slip on's-removed the matting from the baffels and took off the reflectors from the frame and back fender brace. I'm sure I'll be doing a lot more to it in the future. I have a chrome addiction-I chromed most everything on the 1200 custom. But that's ok cause I moved my wife up to it from her 883 hugger. She is really happy. Well when I get around to it I want to get a couple different windsheilds. Maybe upgrade my speakers.Do a bagger brace of somekind. A detachable tourpack, and of course mucho chrome. Sorry for the long post-I have no typing skills so I will say it all at once and be done!!! hdsg out.

If it's an '09 or newer, the Bagger Brace (True Track, Ride Str8, etc..) shouldn't be necessary. Welcome from Big Red country.

Welcome to HDF. Spelling, punctuation, etc. are not important; now, being able to post pictures, on the other hand, is crucial.
