You picked the best touring bike HD makes in my opinion and sounds like you did what it is made for by riding it home 500 miles instead of putting in the back of your truck or trailering it. Your going to love it. I have a 04 Fatboy that I have done a lot to and love it but after riding a RG I had to have one so now I have the best of both worlds, a bar hopper and a touring bike. I just got back from a 3125 mile ride and the Glide did GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
thanks everyone. It was not totally an impulse buy, I had been looking for awhile, but as soon as the wife said ok I jumped on it before she changed here mind. I was in the shop just after the snow stopped on saturday but purchased on Sunday. Monday morning when we were getting ready to head out I saw my mother looking through the yellow pages, when I asked what she was looking for she told me a Uhaul because it is to far to ride that bike back to Vegas. I told her the whole reason for buying this bike was for rides like that. I have been enjoying it every day since my return home and am looking forward to putting many miles on the Geezer Glide. Thanks again for all of the support

Man we were there just after the snow quit too, bought t-shirts and wandered around a while.
We wen't over and checked out the Ducs and Buells next door as well as the big dogs just to kill some time.
Did ya see the oldtimer on the O'l shovelhead wear'n brown leathers? we were parked right next to where he pulled in.
I'll bet we brushed elbows while shopping congrats on the new ride.
that will be the problem, for now all of my miles are going on the glide, and I am becomming adicted to it. if the wife is comming it is definatly the glide, she won't even look at the Heritage anymore, anything over 200mi-glide. if I'm in the mood for Bad Azz, Ape hanging, ear shattering, obnoxious in your face, lowriding, then well the Heritage gets the nod.
