First of all thanks to Fuel Moto (Jamie) and his crew for the excellent services they have provided. The price is right ($311.95 priority 2 day shipping included), delivery was prompt (ordered Tuesday afternoon, received Friday) and the fuel map provided was exceptional.
I have a 06 street glide with stage 1 and V&H ovals. Nothing fancy and almost close to stock. I have always thought it ran ok, nothing very thrilling but at the same time nothing is wrong, so why screw around with it. So I put it off for a long time and did not do anything about the fuel management aspect of the bike. When I saw Power Commander came out with a new unit, and seeing all the people on this forum all had good experience with Jamie at Fuel Moto, I decided to pull the trigger and give it a shot.
Like all things in life, there are pros and cons with everything you do and this is no exception. The pros are 1) installation was super easy, the whole thing is plug and play, a 10 year old child can do it; 2) the ride was sooo much smoother, it was especially noticable in 1st and 2nd gear, the power comes on in a smoother predictable fashion; 3) the bike runs a lot cooler, it was close to triple digit temperature here in the San Francisco Bay Area today and my oil temperature reading never got above 200 in stop and go city riding. As for the cons, there is only one: why the hell did it take me so long to decide to put one of these Power Commanders in my bike, I could have been riding a much more enjoyable Harley. Enough said, I am going out to ride my "new" bike again..........
wondered why i waited so long myself ,never relized how bad it ran b4 the power package.no more stumbling or flat spots or pinging and less heat doesnt lugg as easy either.
It is without a doubt one of the my best purchases for the bike. The ride is now smooth as silk, no hestiations, minimum amount of decel pop (way better than before), and much better response on the throttle. If anything, I may ask Jamie at Fuel Moto to help me cut down on the remaining decel pop. Other than that, it is all good.

Just put a PCV on my 07 DYNA..also from Fuel Moto...no real problems before but WOW!!!...runs like a totally different bike...way less vibration at cruise (usually about 3k RPM),throttle response is amazing etc....wonder what engine temps you guys are seeing...rode about 50 miles in 85 degree weather and let the bike idle for about 5 minutes while removing the seat and hooking up the laptop...temp read 259F...
There are two sides to every story. Before my PCV install my bike was getting 38 mpg. After, it dropped to 30 mpg. I am on the 3rd map. 34 mpg and performance is about back to where it was before PCV. I am about ready to take the PCV off and go back with the Stage 1 download that is in there. Nothing exoctic. 2007 Ultra, Arlen Ness Big Sucker and SE slipons. PCV came from FuelMoto.
Rapz, i got one of the first of the 08 pcv's from fuelmoto. so yeah, they do have them. i've had it for several months, and seems to work well, i need a different map, as my 08 sg is running sorta fat, fuel economy went from 42 or a tad better down to the mid to low 30's. feels torquier, runs cooler, so that's a big plus, but the fuel issue still is borderline unacceptable, compared to stock.
