Default Monster Oval Question?

I installed these with V&H True Duals in March and I love everything about them (except for one thing). When I installed them I painstakingly fiddled and farted to get them level from the back. Every time I go for a ride and come back they seem to be crooked. I've tightened the clamps up good and I can't seem to move them around by hand.

I'm getting real tired of adjusting them every time I go for a ride. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on how I could fix it?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

My ovals have 2ea additional fasteners that hold them in place at the back... (beneath the side bags), but the clamp up front has also came lose on mine! Now, I check them out regularly..

Are the two bolts towards the rear tight also? Are the pipes pushed onto the header pipes as far as they will go?

I have the same pipes and they do not move at all. Plus I used anti seize for easy removal if needed.

Don't be afraid to crank down on the front clamps. Use a 1/2" rachet or breaker bar to get good leverage. After a few heat cycles and re-tightening, they should not move.

If it's coming loose, it not tight enough.......You have to use more torque then the HD manual say to get a good seal and to tighten the clamp up to where it should be...
