Just changed mine out last week. I used the screaming eagle oil. Didn;t have a weight on it. The ride is nice and firm now.

Changed to the SE oil when I threw on the black fork lowers a few months ago. Big difference in the ride.

I used Spectro type "E".Seems to be a lot better then that black gritty stuff that came out.

I'm sure most of the brands are good.

Dealer said HD Screaming Eagle is 20W. I went with HD heavy which is 15W. Stock HD fork oil is 10W. 11.5 oz wet in each side, 12.5 oz dry each side. I ride a 1995 Heritage. Very easy to change out fork oil, $6 a side for oil and $2 each for the rubber gaskets. Owned a 2003 Ultra in the past with HD heavy 15W and front end seemed ok, did not keep it long enough to need a change. Good luck.

I went with the screaming eagle heavy. That's all the bottle said on it. You will need 2 bottles. You will get a nice ride and better feel for the road.

SE Heavy is a good choice. It will reduce the likelyhood of dinging your front fender on the brake tee, which happens every now and then on Dressers...Been there, done that.
