Default Best Guess? Dyno for 95" Build

Just had my 06 FLHXI built out to 95". Picked it up today and put a 100 miles on it. Still in the break in period and taking it easy on it. I plan to put it on the dyno once the break in is complete. Was curious if you guys could tell me what you think I should expect in HP and TQ?

Here is the parts list: HTCC SE heads ported by Mancuso HD (their drag shop), SE dome pistons to match the heads, SE 251 cam, fueling oil pump, compression release, adj push rods, PCIII, high flow air filter, D&D Fat Cat 2:1 (mean & loud), clutch work and had the cylinders diamond cut (nice!)

What HP and TQ should I come to expect when I put it on the dyno? Just curious what y'all think.

Appreciate it!

100/100

Remember to always use the compression release!!!!! That high compression engine will eat starters if you don't!!!

Alamo:
Keep us posted on how it works out.
I'm looking at doing a 95" kit on my 06 Springer but my stealer doesn't have a PC dyno.
How much did it cost? if you don't mind me asking.

Man, the black pearl is beautiful...I had no idea how it looked in the sunlite untill after I bought it and took it home.

Thanks!!

Your setup is very close to mine. I had a local harley drag racer modify my HTCC heads. Went with the SE211's and kept SEII mufflers. You should be well over 100/100 with a good tune. Mancuso does good work. I have been there many times. I live in Louisiana but travel to Houston a lot. PS Use the compression releases all the time. I am careful about it and have 8000 miles on my motor with no problems. I am running a oil cooler. My mechanic recommended it after the motor mods.

Thanks for the feedback. I am sure hoping that we will end up just over 100. The compression release is a definite must each time I crank the engine. I have thought about replacing the air temp guage on the fairing with an oil temp guage. I want to keep a close eye on that. As you know from being a coon ***, the temp in H town gets up there pretty high. Too much concrete. When I get out to the country, I can feel the temp lower significantly just due to the vegetation and not hving as much concrete.

Appreciate the feedback. See you on I 10.

Here is the specs and cost breakdown (parts & labor) by Mancuso HD. Prior to the build, the 2006 FLXHI has a PC III, rhinehart true duals and an SE air cleaner. I took off the Rhineharts and sold them seperately to another wrench in the shop. Before the build, the baseline dyno showed max HP at 74 and max torque at 74.

Parts List
1. SE 95" bored and honed cyl $199.95
2. compression release kit $84.95
3. SE 251 cam $269.95
4. Se perf valve spring kit 139.95
5. valve spring shim kit 14.95
6. SE HP head gasket 26.95
7. top end gaskett 75.50
8. clutch diaphragm spring 29.94
9. SE HTCC high perfrom heads 999.95
10. S/E race port Comp valve job 675.00 (ouch! better build torque, right?)
11. SE HTCC Pistons 279.95
12. Fueling oil pump 425.99
13. Tappet set TC88 HP+ 103.95
14. Adj push rods 93.95
15 D&D Fat Cat 2:1 632.95 (w/ perf baffle)
16 Cam Gaskett kit 53.75
17 SE Rolling rocker kit 469.95

TOTAL PARTS $ 4,577.58
TOTAL LABOR $ 1,422.00
GRAND TOTAL $5,999.58

less discount 15% equals $5,099.64

This ought to give me the combination of reliability with the performance that should slightly exceed 100/100. The wrench talked me ought of a 103" engine that I would have further modified with a head job and 264 cam. He said that 103" modified like I want to do might compromise my touring/reliability objective due to the piston speed from the stroker engine. Not sure, but sounds logical.

I will post the new dyno number when I get it broken in and the fuel system dialed in.

What do you think?

Wow!!!! Alamo, that looks like one heckofa combination! It sould be WELL over 100/100!

I got 100/100 with 95", flat-top pistons, BigBoyz ported stock heads, Andrews TW37's, D&D FatCat, PCIII, & a few other goodies.... My wallet is nowhere near that deep! I'm more of $2k guy, but I did the work myself. I am very interested to see how this turns out after ya get it tuned!!!
