BTW, Nice setup, its great to see pelple still doing things for themselves!
Hey, thanks for the compliment! $29.95 and I have a trailer for the scoot without having to find a place to store another trailer!
It came out pretty good I think. I will just pull the chock off and be able to put the whaler on it for the winter. About the only thing I don't like is the tongue could be about 3 or 4 feet shorter.... But it'll be fine
I've got the same chock and an RKC and an Ultra. Lowest hole, hauls both of them just fine. It doesn't miss the fender by much, but it does miss. The first time I pulled it in it was like slow motion. I hadn't even thought about that getting into the fender. Luckily it stopped just short.

Try Backing up with a shorter trailer and you'll appreciate the longer tongue.
If your concerned with tongue weight being too light move the bike forward.
Congratulations on having a trailering thread go this long without getting Has to be a record.
I hauled 2 ultras to sturgis, put on the lowest setting on the chock, I had the same thoughts when I took it out of the box,but it worked and was money well spent!!!
Just back from the trip, a total of 870 miles on the trailer, and only about 100 off... That said it was worth it, upstate NY has some pretty country!
ANYWAY, wanted to report the chock (on lowest hole) and the trailer worked out beautifully. At speed it was rock solid, easy load and lock.... Nice, now my only fear is it floating when I go to pull the Whaler out with it LOL.
Glad it worked out for ya, have two of those mounted on a 10.5' utility trailer and use it to tow with a bud of mine and the wives are going along (meaning we have way to much crap to carry on a Ultra and Custom Softail). They work great and I even bought the heavier versions from Harbor, one is mounted to the garage floor so I can just drive up into it and step off, other is kept loose to use when washing and detailing the scoot.
BTW I like the padded bumper rails on your trailer, in case you lay it over when loading no scratches
